We place printmaking at the centre of our practice, while operating far beyond its traditional formats — as a laboratory for collaboration, exploration, and new ways of presenting art.

Print Studio

At its core, Vacant Editions is a print studio working closely with artists throughout the entire production process.

We assist with digital preparation, design development, pricing, formats, and art production, with a particular focus on print and graphic works.

Over the years, we have worked with some of Norway’s leading contemporary artists, including Pushwagner, Christian Houge, Bjarne Melgaard, Nikolai Torgersen, Guttestreker, and many others.

We believe in long-term collaborations with artists, developing distinctive aesthetics and conceptual approaches to print and art production together.

Beyond Print

Our expertise extends across a wide range of production methods, including framing and finishing.

Whether developing a limited-edition print, an experimental artwork, or a new exhibition format, we work closely with artists to turn ideas into finished works.
